It all started in 1997, after a close encounter with death; he found a need to reevaluate the purpose of his life. Alex survived a cancer operation and although doctors recommended chemotherapy, he chose a path of prayer and meditation to complete his healing process. In July of 2007, Alex moved to Sedona also following a strong calling from God. He knew this move meant more than just a location change. Well, he did not have to wait long; in November of 2007 Alex again felt the saving hand of God when he had a near death experience during a serious car accident driving from Phoenix to Sedona one night. It was time to get on with his new mission in life, so shortly after he quit his job.

As Alex was delving deeper into his faith, he felt he knew so little about the Mother of God and his open mind and desire to get to the bottom of issues and find answers, took him on a path of research and investigation about the life of the Virgin Mary. What he did not know is that Mary was slowly changing his heart to the point that he left his job to write about her. The result of many years of research was his book “Mother Mary’s Resurrection – A Businessman’s Awakening Through Our Universal Mother”, which won a Finalist Award in the 2009 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. In here Alex shares his learning along with his personal experiences and how he came to love Mary in a much more profound way. He tells how in each important step of his life he has found the support of Mary and Christ to accomplish his mission. Alex explains that when our goals and desires are aligned with God’s will it is so much easier to accomplish them, because we have Divine help all along the way.
